A totally fun, fast read.
Described as the first zombie legal thriller, K. Bennett’s debut zombie novel did not disappoint me. Mallory Caine is an engaging heroine and the story was full of mystery, plot twists and moments that made me laugh. Although the writing styles are so different, this whole contemporary paranormal fantasy thing reminds me of the Mercy Thompson novels by Patrician Briggs. Good stuff.
The best part: the sequel is due out soon!
